What is Dry Eye?
- Dry Eye Syndrome is a common but often underdiagnosed condition in which your eyes either don’t produce enough tears or produce poor-quality tears that evaporate too quickly.
- It can cause significant discomfort, blurry vision, and even damage to the surface of the eye.
- Recent research also supports that chronic dry eye may be associated with neurodegenerative processes, where the nerves that stimulate tear production become dysfunctional over time. That’s why early diagnosis and advanced treatment are critical.
